Sneaky Peaky #2

Wow. Already a week without a post! I have been doing a LOT of crafting, some for my Style School Online Class from Red Velvet Art, some for a few babies I know that are being born, have been born, or are getting older! Here is sneak-peak #2.
Here is my Valentine's kitschy wall ornament.
One of my favorite projects to do: a Modern Inspiration Wall, complete with a section for Goals, Current Projects, Inspiration, and a Secret Pocket! (That middle open space will be filled with another project from the class, but I have yet to finish it!)

I have a love of all banners and bunting, and this one is no exception. I have fallen in love with making pom-poms [these are what I use] and I loved Rachel Denbow's garland she made for a friend and was heavily inspired by it. I wanted one to be in girly, Valentine's colors, since Anikka's birthday is February 17! It is perfect, and I think we'll use it for many, many, birthdays to come! (sorry, I have yet to figure out a great lighting combination for this room, it is SO dark, even with all the lights on!)

Colors: eggplant, fuchsia, pale pink. [knit 2 i-cords with bulky yarn, size 10 DPNs, make 1 i-cord 2 feet smaller than first, attach in center, attach pom poms.]

We've Gone and Done It

We are in the midst of packing up, and moving. Not just any move, but The Move we've been trying to accomplish for years now. We're heading up to (Washington) Canada. In the last couple of months Stefan had been talking to a potential employer up in Richmond, British Columbia , and after a very swift interview process they offered him the job. Small and large details aside, he accepted and plans to start on February 25th. We leave one week earlier, on the 18th. That's literally just over 2 weeks from when you will read this. We told family and close friends first, and while we haven't been keeping it a huge secret, our church, as a whole, did not know until last night because it was then we could tell everyone at our seasonal congregational meeting what our plans were in person, and with many of them all at once.
